Signing a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Labor
In a new step by the Egyptian Center for Safe Driving to reduce road accidents, a cooperation protocol was signed with the Ministry of Labor on September 23, 2025, to qualify and evaluate vehicle drivers.

Statement issued by the Ministry of Labor:
Minister of Labor Mohamed Gebran witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Labor and the Egyptian Federation of Tourism Chambers - Egyptian Center for Safe Driving at the Ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The protocol, in the presence of Mr. Hossam El Shaer, Chairman of the Federation of Tourism Chambers, is aimed at evaluating and qualifying vehicle drivers. This comes within the framework of the Ministry's efforts to advance human resources and develop their skills in line with local and international labor market requirements, and within the framework of the Federation of Tourism Chambers' objectives to reduce road accidents, improve the quality of transportation in all its forms, and enhance efficiency and skill. The protocol was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Labor by Mr. Wael Abdel Sabour Qutb, Director General of the General Administration for Training Centers Affairs, and on behalf of the Egyptian Federation of Tourist Chambers by Ms. Hala El Khatib, Executive Director of the Federation.
The protocol aims to unify the standards for evaluating the skills of vehicle drivers and technicians, and to raise their efficiency through specialized training programs. It also aims to train Egyptian workers scheduled to travel abroad on the principles of safe driving, thus promoting sustainable development in the transportation sector and reducing road accidents. It also stipulates joint cooperation between the two parties in preparing and implementing advanced training programs, exchanging technical and administrative expertise, and accrediting professional certificates issued by the Egyptian Center for Safe Driving. Furthermore, a joint committee will be formed to monitor the implementation of its provisions and establish the necessary technical and administrative controls and standards. The signing of the protocol was witnessed on behalf of the Egyptian Federation of Tourist Chambers by Nasser Turki, Vice President of the Federation; Major General Walid Fouda, Director of the Egyptian Center for Safe Driving; and Mohamed Battikh, Director of the Federation's Legal Affairs Department; and on behalf of the Ministry by Dr. Mohamed Salah, Researcher at the Central Administration for Vocational Training.
